The cells are HAT sensitive and are negative for Epstein-Barr virus.
According to information provided by the patent depositor (US Patent 4,720,459 dated Jan 19 1988), this cell line did not secrete an immunoglobulin. However, recent testing at ATCC has confirmed the presence of IgG. |
