The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.

| Subculturing |
Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:4 to 1:10 is recommended This is a mixed cell culture; cells grow both as a monolayer and as a suspension. Subcultures are prepared by scraping the attached cell into the medium containing the floaters. Aspirate and dispense into new culture flasks.
Subculture approximately two times weekly. Cells will detach from surface of flask before confluency is reached.
