Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): SalI--19, 10 (arms), 8.6, 4.2 (insert). Contains 2 Alu sequences and many non-coding inserts. Competent to transfer TK-C activity to TK- mouse cells when transferred in pairs with other clones such as lambdatk18. The tk-C sequences were isolated from a phage genomic library made from DNA of a transfected mouse cell carrying the human tk-C gene. |
