The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt position according to the published sequence): PstI--1843, 2786, 5318, 9763, 10769, 11237, 16150; HindIII--2775, 15707, 16270; EcoRI--9906, 10198. The 3' end overlaps the 5' end of lambdaHAFP26 (ATCC 65736, 65737) by 11.8 kb. Together they contain the complete gene. Begins 0.5 kb 5' to the published sequence, and includes exons 1-11, an Alu repeat, and two "Xba" repeats. The polymorphic site is at nt 9494 of the published sequence. |
