Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.5, 2.85; BamHI--4.2, 2.1, 1.55; PstI--3.8, 1.6, 1.3, 0.74; HindIII--3.8, 3.1, 1.1. Mapped by probing DNA from mice with different partial t haplotypes. The 1.5 kb XhoI/EcoRI portion of the insert hybridizes specifically to the beta subfamily of elements present at the mouse D17Leh66 complex locus. Isolated from a genomic library constructed from MboI partially digested, size fractionated (30-50 kb) DNA from a male mouse with a t complex genotype of t(wlub1)/t(w5). |
